This Privacy Policy explains what information EZ Calculator (“we”, “us”) collects when you use ezcalculator.app, how that information is used, and the choices you have.

The Short Version

• Your calculations run in your browser. We never receive or store what you type into a calculator.
• You do not need an account, and we do not ask for your name or email address to use the site.
• We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used and Google AdSense to show ads. Both use cookies.
• You can turn off personalized ads and block analytics at any time.

Information We Collect

What you enter into a calculator

Every calculation happens on your own device. The numbers and expressions you enter are not sent to our servers, and we do not save them.

Settings saved in your browser

When you choose Light, Dark, or System mode, that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so the site remembers it on your next visit. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

Information sent automatically

Like any website, your browser sends standard technical details with each visit, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, and the time of the request. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes these details to deliver the site and protect it from abuse and attacks.

Information you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and anything you include in your message. We use it only to reply to you.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics, a service provided by Google, to understand how visitors use the site: which pages are viewed, how long visits last, which devices and browsers are used, and the general region visits come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information. We only see combined reports that do not identify you, and Google states that Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to show ads, which helps keep EZ Calculator free.

How Long We Keep Information

• Calculations: never received, so never kept.
• Theme setting: stays on your device until you clear it.
• Analytics data: kept in Google Analytics for a limited period we set, then deleted automatically.
• Technical logs: kept by Cloudflare under its own privacy policy.
• Emails: kept only as long as needed to answer you and keep a record of the conversation.

International Transfers

Google and Cloudflare may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, they use approved safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect information sent abroad.

Children’s Privacy

EZ Calculator is a general-audience website and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Ads and some links on this site lead to websites we do not run. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
